CLASS B CDL HAZMAT DRIVER

AEG Petroleum LLC, based in Amarillo, TX, is a growing family owned and operated petroleum distributor. We are looking for a highly motivated Class B Hazmat Driver to join our team and contribute to our continued success. Our commitment to customer service, reliability, and safety has set us apart serving the agriculture, oil field, industrial, fleet and government accounts throughout the tri state area and beyond.


Job Summary:

The Class B CDL Hazmat Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of petroleum products—including fuel, lubricants, and DEF—to commercial, agricultural, and industrial customers. This position plays a vital role in supporting daily operations by ensuring timely deliveries, maintaining equipment readiness, and upholding the highest standards of safety and customer service.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely load, transport, and deliver fuel, lubricants and other products to customer sites.

  • Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections in compliance with DOT and company standards.

  • Handle all product transfers safely and accurately, following company and environmental procedures.

  • Maintain accurate delivery documentation including bills of lading, invoices and driver logs.

  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, operations and customers regarding deliveries and service concerns.

  • Comply with all DOT, OSHA, and EPA regulations as well as internal safety and environmental policies.

  • Conduct routine truck maintenance checks and promptly report mechanical issues.

  • Present a professional company image and provide courteous, customer-focused service on every delivery.

  • Support warehouse or yard operations as needed (e.g., product loading, inventory assistance).


Qualifications:

  • Valid Class B CDL with Hazmat

  • Tanker endorsements and/or experience preferred

  • Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years

  • Knowledge of DOT regulations and hazardous material handling

  • Ability to lift and maneuver hoses, fittings, and other delivery equipment (up to 75 lbs.)

  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as needed. Standard hours will be 7:30 A.M. to 5:30 P.M.
